Physio Studio Cambridge

We love what we do.

We have many years of clinical experience between us in both the NHS and private practice.

The chances are we will have helped many people with your exact problem recover and return to pain free and unrestricted movement. Our whole physiotherapy business is based on outcome. Most of our work is actually through referral or word of mouth and we work hard to give everyone the very best service we can.

Questions we are frequently asked...

Your first appointment will be an hour-long session giving us plenty of time to discuss what the problem is, how it’s affecting you and what you want to achieve.

We’ll ask you some questions about your medical history and complete a thorough physical examination to get to the heart of the problem.

We’ll explain why you are experiencing pain and recommend the best treatment options. Then we’ll get straight on with treatment to relieve your symptoms and advise you on the things you can to do to help yourself.

Any stretches or exercises we prescribe will be tailored to your individual needs and we’ll send you them online with video links so you can be sure you are practicing them correctly at home, in between sessions with us.

It might be necessary for you to remove some clothing so your physiotherapist can assess you properly. You may want to wear a vest top or bring a pair of shorts with you.

If you have any scans, X-rays, reports or information about your medication please do bring them to your first session.

If you are paying for your own treatment then you don’t need to see your doctor beforehand. We can write to your GP after you have finished treatment to keep them up-to-date.

If you are claiming through your medical insurance please check with your provider first as you may need a referral from your GP.
